Dev immersed himself in his new environment, learning Mandarin, understanding local customs, and excelling in his role. Over seven years, he rose to become a restaurant manager. However, his dream of training at the esteemed Shaolin Temple remained elusive due to financial constraints.

In 2013, Dev channeled his entrepreneurial spirit, establishing the Amber Palace Indian Restaurant group. Today, Amber Palace is China's largest chain of Indian cultural restaurants, boasting over 10 outlets across major cities. Renowned for its exquisite ambiance, cultural promotions, and authentic Indian cuisine, Amber Palace has become a resounding success.

Fate intervened in 2017 when a Chinese filmmaker, impressed by Dev's charisma, offered him a role in the TV series "SWAT." This marked the beginning of a flourishing acting career. Dev has since graced over 35 Chinese films and television series, including acclaimed works like "My Roommate is a Detective" and "The Trapped."

Dev's remarkable journey from a small Indian village to becoming a celebrated actor and entrepreneur in China has captivated the nation. His inspiring story is now part of the seventh-grade curriculum in China, motivating young minds.
